Carol Leybourn, Pianist and Arranger
CAROL LEYBOURN has Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in piano performance from the University of Michigan. She concertized in Germany, established a studio in Ann Arbor upon her return to the United States and has performed and lectured throughout the United States and Canada.
Ms. Leybourn has also established chamber music programs for junior high and high school students throughout the Midwest. She just retired from directing the chamber music program at the Lawrence University Academy of Music in Appleton, Wisconsin. She is listed in Who's Who of American Women, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who in the World.
Carol Leybourn has had expert help from many student musicians, and she gives individual thanks in the Preface for each work. She is also grateful for the strong support of her late husband, Jerry F. Janssen, PhD.
